Repeat Prescriptions
Changes to our repeat prescription policy May 2010
Telephone requests can no longer be made for repeat prescriptions.
It is necessary to undertake medication reviews with patients. As a result; from 1st May 2010 6 monthly prescriptions will be provided to patients on long term medication, after which they must make an appointment for medication review and a further prescription will be issued
Only a limited prescription may be issued in some case where a patient cannot attend and needs continuous cover.
There remains a fee for issuing private repeat prescriptions.

If you request your repeat prescription via email please note the following:
- We need your full name, address and date of birth
- Please specify the drug name, dosage, frequency and quantity required
- This form is sent to us via computers that are in a non-encrypted format. Complete confidentiality for this type of repeat prescription request can not be guaranteed
- You may be required to attend the surgery for medicines review should the Doctor feel that this is necessary
We would appreciate 48hrs notice for all requests.
