Warfarin Clinics

Warfarin blood tests are done everyday except Friday afternoons after 12pm. Results are usually telephoned to you at 1730 on the day that the blood is taken, with advice on any dose alterations. It is important to make an appointment for this clinic at least 3 days in advance.

Family Planning and Contraception

All doctors working in the surgery are able to provide contraceptive advice. This will include advice on the various types, and suitability.

In addition we are able to insert the Implanon contraceptive implant (lasts 3 years), the Mirena Intra Uterine System (lasts 5 years) and the Copper Intra Uterine Device (By appointment only). Men may wish to consider vasectomy as an effective safe form of contraception

Health Assessments

We offer a wide range of health assessments and while each one caters for different needs, all are provided on the principle that early detection of illness can mean easier management of the problem and more successful treatment.
